Impact Amplifier is expanding its impact assessment work into five new countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Madagascar, Senegal and Togo.
In collaboration with the Private Financing Advisory Network (PFAN – global network of climate and clean energy investment experts), we are developing impact frameworks and assessments for 10 climate change/mitigation businesses in Sub-Saharan Africa.
To date, we have developed Impact Frameworks for five businesses, which are:
- Addressing inefficiencies and energy access in the small farmer onion supply chain in Senegal;
- Facilitating access to solar water pumps for small scale farmers in Madagascar;
- Providing affordable solar home systems and cell phone access to remote villagers in Senegal and Togo;
- Creating micro-franchise solar energy businesses in Madagascar; and
- Developing mini-grid solar energy networks in rural Burkina Faso.
